Bored and very hungry

Well my kiddos are sleeping. and I am starving. It is wrong to leave them to get something to eat. and I don't want pizza because well pizza sucks right now. sigh. Oh and because of the boredom I made more chickens!! which aren't helping my hunger at all. these guys are kinda cute. Pinky Lee and Frenchie. They are happy crazy ass chickens. I have no motivation to work on my scarf despite the fact that I so totally could.... I choose not to. and well I just suck all around today.
so enjoy the chickens.. feel sorry for me because I am starving.. and till next time.... editing to add the pics because apparently I am an idiot and didn't bother to put them up..ooops

Last day of the month and it's payday whoo hoo!

This to me is a great day ( or usually is I'll get to that in a moment) The last day of November, kinda the calm before the storm that is Christmas. Just sitting here on the crusp of the holidays waiting for them to officially begin.. Yes I know many of you have already started with the holiday decorations and gift buying. But not me. I usually wait till Dec 1st. I just like to. Today is also Payday which is uber awesome. But ray is sick today. :( so i have to stay home and make sure he is doing ok.. but tomorrow is a new day. So I am going to sit here on my last day of november, drink my Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper and enjoy it.

Ok i faced my fear and made my very first wearable. It's of course the BICO because you can't go wrong when it's made in one piece.. Basically it's Michelle Proof. So this is going to a friend of mine lets hope she likes it. However now the song is stuck inside my head. so just for fun I am posting the words. lol

an old hat revisited

I found this hat in Belle's room this morning, Meadow saw it when she came home and asked if she could have it. I said sure why not. it's very cute, although I think i might make some adjustments the next time and increase it a bit more for a more pithy/floppy look. Enjoy oh and the pattern can be found here

Work In Progress

this scarf is totally inspired by this scarf click here
so here it is in progress. mine is done with Caron Simply soft off white. Although once I make it I might make my way to my yarn store and do it in something really yummy once I know how much it takes. and no I haven't learned to knit.. it's crochet just the stitch is called broomstick lace.

Lots of stuff happens. but too lazy to type out or the other stuff. lol
been busy making pot holders and currently working on a scarf. I got a new puppy and he is awesome so enjoy some pics!!
