the hat i made

this didn't take very long, only an hour or two.. I used that beautiful yarn I bought at yarntopia, it took a little more than 50g to make, but would so make it again. I love this hat. it's soo cute

some fantastic yarn

I found this amazing Local Yarn Store.. it was yarn heaven.. it had the most amazing yarn ever. And the prices were pretty crazy too.. But I couldn't resist buying some. I am making a hat and wanted more than what other stores offered. so i got an amazing wool/microfiber/cashmere blend. in an amazing blue grey. i love it.. then since it was 40% off i got the pink for fun which is a 50/50 cotton blend.

Still not done

but getting there. I have made more progress on the spideystarghan. still not done, I even had to substitute yarn, I had some free stuff from a yarn exchange, but they don't make it anymore. Thank goodness for Red Heart.. When it is finished it should be quite large, so we will see how many more rounds it takes.

Something I am making for my son, a spidey inspired starghan. Still needs to be bigger ( yay more work for me) don't mind Oreo's paws, she is a camera hound and has to be in all the pictures. I will be posting more pics when I am done

Yesterday

I didn't post yesterday, I couldn't really. What is there to say that hasn't already been said a million times over? I know I will never forget that day as long as I live. Something changed forever not just for me, but for everyone alive that day. It is a day that is never far from my thoughts, so I am just going to say I am grateful to have been around so that I can learn from what happened, I can teach my children what happened, so they might not make the same mistakes we have made. prayers and good thoughts to all those no longer with us and to those of us left behind.

why must you test my patience so.. You know I have none.. Why do you insist on kicking me on and off messenger at the most inopportune times? Why must you freeze my IE when I open my email? Why do you make my life just that much more difficult?? What did I do to you? I am so good to you, using you everyday.. Sending IM's and Emails. So much so you made me a power emailer giving me way more storage.. Yet you continue to torture me so.. WHY WHY!!!!
