all done yay!!!!!!! i finally finished this one after holding on to it forever. i just needed to edge it but i couldn't find the yarn. blast... but i found it and then I guess i messed up on the original edging with my count. But it's done and that is all that matters. :D
the second one was made for a good friend and I wanted her to get it before she saw it posted on my blog.

Free rice anyone??

well not for you silly. Something I had stumbled upon about a year or so ago, you build your vocab and for every word you get right you donate 20 grains of rice to feed the impoverished. also if you miss words you don't lose grains you just lose your level. So check it out. improve your vocab impress peeps at work and well do some good while you are chillin' at the computer wasting time. :D http://www.freerice.com/
to date ( well actually just since yesterday when i changed my settings lol) i have donated 4420 grains of rice.

I miss Matthew. A Lot. Some days I am ok, but somedays I just need to dwell and feel sad. Today is that day. I just miss him. I torture myself going to his myspace page, knowing he will never log back in, sending IM's to his long gone yahoo name. Sending comments knowing damn well he will never get them. But I can't help myself I have to do it. He shouldn't be gone, he should still be here sending random texts and making obscene phone calls to me. I am soo angry at him for leaving the way he did. it wasn't his time he shouldn't have gone that way. I am angry at myself for not calling when I should have..... i'm sad and angry...

I Love Used book stores!!!

So there is this really awesome book store near where i live. I just turned in a bunch of books. I have 94 bucks in paperback credit. w00t!!!! that is awesome!! only 3 bucks in hardback but that is ok because I like paperbacks more anyway..... Looks like i am set for a while with 'new' books. Anyway. not too much else happening here other then its hot yet again. yuck... The ac is ok but the attic fan seems to be out D uses the attic for a sauna that is how hot it gets up there. He went to go check it out and before he even got up into the attic he was sweating. just wearing shorts. Yuck.. i sent the Property manager a repair request. I hope the AC guy comes soon. Anyway that is just a small update on me..

Ok last night go to bed at 1 am, wake up at 9 ( thanks lawn guys) start to feel Exhausted around 12 perk back up around 3pm now here it is 1.41am and i am wide awake. Ugghh wth man. So what do i do? work on my WIPs of course ha ha ha.... That and watch mindless tv. D is passed out in the room snoring up a storm so that leaves about zero chance for me to get to sleep in the bed. And to top it off the sinus pressure ( cold vs allergies still in testing phase lol) is killing me. I have had terrible afternoons where my head is just killing me. And right now i can't smell things unless I am up close and personal. D comes in the house and says what is that smell and i think great what happened. So i tell him i can't smell so I have no idea what you are talking about. at least it wasn't freaking gas or something. *sigh*.

Anyway... Side note I updated my ravelry page with my new WIP's and other finished projects. yay!!! i know uber geeky of me. I really need to update my myspace, but i am too lazy to do that... besides i am sure i will encounter some kind of issue doing so. I can't get away from the dang errors over there. alright i guess i wasted enough time already. I'll post some pics later today.

Ants, puppies and kids

3 things that have irritated me this week. grrrr.. first i guess some rouge fire ants made it into our house and one felt it would be best to bite me. so it did 2x on my foot. right where my flip flop sits so uber itchy and uber uncomfy... My doxie whom i love, decided to destroy a skein of yarn i was using in a project. so I need to buy a new skein ( it wasn't cheap yarn either grrrr) . The kids. lets just say summer vacation needs to be over. Fighting over tv time, computer time. ARRRGGGHHH that is it everyone is banished outside!!!

True to life?

So this subject kinda came up on a forum i frequent. I kinda got peeved and well here on my blog I can elaborate lol. So people often say that Army wives is not 'realistic'. My response to this is DUHHHH it's a tv show. If it was supposed to be realistic it would be a reality show. And lets be honest how often is a reality show that realistic? Its not it's cut for drama and all that jazz. I guess I can't understand how people expect this one show to be so realistic? Is ER a realistic view of County hospital docs? probably not. Or Grey's? Well first Seattle Grace is a fictional hospital so again gonna go with no.. I can understand that some people feel it is cheesy or poorly written/acted. and that is fine but to sit and say that the show is not realistic enough. what is that. How do we know anyone's reality? Unless you are living it nothing is realistic. So that is my rant for the moment. Hold on more coming in a different post. ha ha ha

Sprinkler woes

Apparently a degree in lawn maintenance is required to work my 5 dollar wal-mart sprinkler. I must have spent 10 minutes outside ( in the blazing heat btw) trying to twist that 8 sprinkler sprinkler thingy so I could get to the one i wanted. GAAAHHH!!!!!! O.M.G it was a nightmare. to say the least. all so I can maybe water our lawn. I know i know people will ask but Michelle its midday, yes I know, but i can't water at night due to lawn fungus, it gets so hot and humid that no matter when I water temp will be about 80 anyway. So I was watering today and thought I'll just keep watering till my front lawn gets water. My poor lawn needs it.
At any rate. Being outside has exhausted me. so off to my room i go. I think i need a nap.

I am almost done with the baby blanket i posted about a few posts down ( the purple one) for our pregnant baby sitter. I have also started on a matinee jacket I have been wanting to start. I finally got a 2.00 mm hook ( i had started it using a c hook it was no good) but now I am good to go with the right hook. I also got a Crochet Today! at Hobby Lobby the other day, and there is a shawl I want to make, but it's made from thread and intimdating. ohnoz. but I think i will work through it because it is just too pretty not to make.

I'm tired since it is almost 1 am. and D is out at a party, i never sleep well when he isn't here. Anyway i'll post more later. Night all.

Youtube is being a butt about uploading my video. grrrr i really wanted to upload it hello youtube get your act together. My kids lost the toilet paper holder for their bathroom. gahhhh This weekend Ds will be team captain which means I get to make snacks. yay ( note the sarcasm). This also means I get to go back to Sam's ( for the 3rd time this week) for snacks.
This day has just been crazy, all around.. hopefully it ends soon.

I decided with the summer almost full upon us, that the time had come to spend some time outside.
I bought a cheap pool at wal-mart ( and I do mean cheap 5.66 can't beat that) an umbrella and a patio table ( complete with umbrella and 2 chairs) for little bits. I had a slip and slide from last summer ( target clearance, yes I know i rock. lol) So we spent almost all afternoon outside. It was fun, Boris found a frog which he chased with gusto lol. Little bits spent tons of time in her little pool and I got bit by freaking ants. grrrr.

It's Thursday, my ONE NIGHT. i only ask that between 8-9 that no one bugs me. Today wasn't my day. Nothing but issues. so and so is bugging me. He hit me, where is this, not going to bed. GAAAHHHHH!!!!! O.M.G I am just upset because I missed the first few minutes of my show. grrrrr... all because someone wants a disney account. *** rolls eyes*** then all thru the show nothing but drama. More insomnia

Grrr, it's 1.40 am, i am still up. Mainly because the hubster is snoring, LOUDLY, i can't sleep if he is snoring. and it never fails he can be silent up until I am ready to fall asleep and then start snoring sooo loud. irritates me.
However i have found i get a lot done when the insomnia kicks in... I finally loaded some music into my Sidekick. yay for that. I am almost done with the pink baby blanket, just working on the boarder now. was able to finish watching Carrier. Answered some emails. Ohh cleaned out my email in box. all very important things, that apparently can only be done when I should be sleep. ***sigh*** tomorrow I will pay for this, and Saturday I get no relief because it is soccer saturday. grrrr what fun. NOT. well it is, just not at 9 am, then again at 2 pm. and then we have IKEA to go to, to buy our table since all we currently have for a 'dining room table' i use that term loosely, is a molded plastic craft table and folding chairs whoo hoo living it up. rofl.

I forgot to mention SOS is down. which makes me upset because that is like the best place for insomnia mode. you can read tons of old ass threads and catch up on all the things you chose to forget about. lol... alright off to post this, hopefully i will get some rest soon. we will see.

I'm tired, and this change of weather is bugging me.... I just want it to rain already!!!!!!!! the humidity sans rain is just bugging me. I'll kinda live, but its getting to me. ha ha
I am working on the afore mentioned projects, but those have slowed to a crawl. I mainly need to come to a decision on the pink blanket, to keep going or finish off soon. i'm undecided.

Childhood memory

So I bought a bottle of sun in the other day and a memory came back to me. When i was around 9-12 ( can't recall the exact age) my mom bought a bottle of sun in to use on her hair. Well I felt the need to use the bottle and sprayed a halo on my hair. rofl i have dark brown/black hair which will turn red with sun in, so I had a red halo till the highlights faded. So just a moment in time that will forever be immortalized by a bottle of highlights. lol It also makes me wonder if my 2 girls will do something as crazy as that.

Exhaustion

Is a state i am currently in. I took 2 tylenol pm's last night and they have not yet worn off at 4.59 pm. I'm utterly exhausted. I just wanna sleeeeeepppppp.
But that won't happen till later because I still have things to do today. It is soccer practice day. yay ( note the sarcasm) I really need to finish this dang blanket so I can start the other one, maybe I will make some more progress today. It's the kitty face/bay windows blanket. I need at least 30-34 inches so that it is proportionate. I am hoping to take a pic soon. Oh that reminds me, note to self load SD card into camera and take camera to soccer practice.
At any rate, hopefully there will be some progress and I'll take pics later.

Good news of the weekend we sold our truck. yay!!!!!!!!! it only sat on craigslist for about a month. But there was lots of no shows and nibbles, but no bites. Well finally we got it sold, so that monkey is off our back. Our friends came down to visit for the day really, which was nice to see them. I am working on two baby blankets.... wait scratch that 3 baby blankets, 2 baby dresses and 3 pairs of slippers. ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! but i will prevail.
I will post pics as i get done with projects. Oh wait and i'm still working on my potholder madness.

I have had to run back and forth to the practice fields twice a week because their practice days are on different days. *sigh. this weekend their games start 10 minutes apart, thank goodness d can come and watch one while I am at the other. saves me the stress of trying to figure out what the heck I should be doing. At any rate. It is helping me schedule myself so that I don't run around all late to everything. I will post pics in the morning too tired to do it now. :D

Guitar Hero III

Wow, umm officially addicted to this game. And I am kicking ass at it too. lol
I spent all day today playing. Dh was really sweet and bought it for me yesterday as a late birthday present. I felt bad because he was using his birthday gift of a best buy card to buy it for me. But he also got a game -Fight Night Round 3 for PS2 since his PSP took a crap -
So he let me play ALL day. it was fantastic, i'm soo addicted to this game and really good at it so far. although after watching the guitar hero championships on youtube I realized i'm not all that good. lol.
I also have been hard at work on a few other projects. i decided to use my cone of cotton for good and am making pot holders. yay, nothing to fancy just the double thick ones that work up fast and easy. As soon as i get some done I will post some pics. Until then have a great rest of the weekend whatever is left of it :D

No not the show. lol
I live in the 'real world' i have been living in a bubble before this. The military community is something unlike anything else. Almost like an exclusive club with special cards and stickers involved. Here it's unlike anything i have ever experienced. And I admit i'm scared. ha ha

I have lived a military life pretty much my whole life, this foray into civilian life is a bit scary.
Oh well live to fight another day right?

So it's Thursday, the kiddos don't have school tomorrow semi happy about that, getting our water cooler delivered between 12-5 i'm most excited about that because I want to have good tasting water once again and it is a hot/cold cooler, so i can have hot water instantly. ( not really a problem here with the ground so hot for so long. :D)

Other then that not much else has happened this week. other then it started to get hot and i'm waiting on the big storm that should be happening soon. I'll try and get my thoughts together for another post later. i'm a bit lost at the moment. ha ha

Tuesdays post

Today I'm just a bit not there. I got up late ( this should have been the first clue) well actually i had to sleep on the couch since d was snoring so loud I couldn't fall asleep. So I get the kids up and everyone is slowly getting up. I go to make some coffee for d, spill grounds everywhere. *sigh* ok then I fill up the coffee maker, and the hose goes out of control ( ok ok it was my own fault but hey can't blame me for trying lol) and sprays me all over the face. Alright... I wipe off and continue on. I manage to get the coffee going without further issue. Able to get the kiddos off to the bus. yay maybe my morning is looking up.. Nope. I go to the garage, to get a bunch of boxes of packing stuff for the trash guys since we moved in. i tripped over some bikes and almost face plant on to d's total gym. Ok cool no one saw me. I open the garage door ( no injuries there) and start getting the trash out of the garage. I trip twice while carrying boxes mainly just making myself look foolish ( thank goodness no one was outside.)

After that my morning when smooth ( well I chose not to make it too hard for me. lol) I realize around 10ish that i need to get some gas for my car, last night the gas light dinged on me. So I thought alright let me do that before i get miss meadow from pre-k. Luckily no fires or gas spills. But as i am leaving Randalls I notice that i forgot to close my gas tank. I feel like a doofus even more so as people are motioning to me about it. Yes Yes I know I'm an idiot. Thanks for pointing that out. So i pull over and close my tank, then move on to picking up mead. I do fine till I get to the bank. I get out of my car and realize that i left my purse in there. grrr. I finally get in and stop doing damage to myself. Deposit my checks and go about my day.

I'm hoping that my day will improve. lets hope so. On a brighter note. I made a baby blanket. enjoy

grrr i have stuff to finish, but have no desire to do anything. arg. quick someone motivate me!!!

Ok on to better and brighter things.. I have found myself drawn to watching Crossing Jordan. For some reason it is better on re-runs then when it came out on tv live. lol. I also seem unable to keep a train of thought for very long, I have misplaced my camera and it sucks because I want to take some pics. Sadly it's a small camera which makes losing it a bigger possibility then if i had my dslr. hint hint, dang hubby doesn't read my blog. oh well it was worth a shot.

I feel lost today with no real reason. My blog doesn't seem to have a reason at this point. ha ha.. when does it ever.

Some crazy stuff has happened lately, between my mom being sick and having surgery, my grandma having to move in with my brother, and just life in general... I feel like a lot of my thoughts and writing are disjointed, not able to connect with the previous sentence. Usually when this happens I wind up taking a break from writing, however the last time I did that I didn't write for about 18 months give or take. I don't want that to happen again. I like writing too much for that to happen. I hope I can snap out of it soon.

Rough few weeks

So the past few weeks have been pretty rough lots of personal stuff happening, lots of things I haven't blogged about here. I try to keep this blog light hearted and fun. In a nutshell, my mom was diagnosed with thyroid cancer a few weeks ago, she had surgery, got an infection, but luckily is now doing much better. But I haven't been myself because of all of it.

Lately I am not myself, not wanting to finish projects much less start ones that I need to, it's not cool. I'm trying to get back to myself and hopefully that will start happening soon.

I am still trucking along on my BFF's scarf, which is still just kinda half way done. I need to get off my arse and get it done, winter is over for her and I feel like crap for not finishing it sooner. *sigh*

Right now it's nice outside, weather is perfect. Perfect amount of sun, right amount of breeze, not too hot, not too cold. Perfect. I wish it would stay this way, but I know it won't :(

maybe i'll post pics later of my WIP's and how pretty it looks outside. :D

I had to undo 13 rows of my baby blanket. NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! All because i missed a Stitch 13 rows down so it made me one off. something I probably could have lived with but the perfectionist in me couldn't. I forget to take a pic of what 13 rows of yarn unraveled looked like but you can guess I was pretty pissed about the whole think. Took me another hour to get it all back. *Sigh* so now i am just 1 row ahead of where I was yesterday thanks to that snafu.

Oh Cart God what I have I done to anger you??

I some how offended the cart gods. Now every time I get a cart at the store it is jacked up. What have I done to unleash this bad cart Karma? 99.9% of the time i put my cart back in the corral. I don't abuse my carts when I am in the store. I never leave one hanging out in the middle of an aisle. ok once I did that, but it was an emergency. Please just unload this unnatural hatred you have for me and let me get some decent carts.

I always feel there isn't enough time for stuff. There are so many awesome patterns I want to try, but there just isn't enough time. Not to mention, money for the yarn and people who will appreciate the work. lol. But that is the big mystery of life right? How to fit all this stuff into this 24 hour period each day. I know I have horrible time management skills always have. I don't think I could organize and hour if I had too. I'm easily distracted. See already my blog has wandered off to some other subject. A lovely lady at the 'ville posted a picture of a blanket she had but no name to, in hopes that someone could give her the name of the pattern. Well we got a name of the possible designer, but for me that lead no where. She did however show a close up of the stitches, which lead to easily deciphering the pattern. whoo hoo. So me being drawn to this blanket. I picked up my hook and some baby yarn I had bought for a different project that didn't pan out, and started making stitches. Someone mentioned that it was a multiple of 12 + 7 more then enough for me. :D I'm very proud of myself for figuring out the pattern as well as not working from a pattern, since I am a pattern girl. Anyway my progress so far. I have no name for this blanket. Some input would be nice. leave me a comment with some cute names.

Soo, after much coveting of the babette blanket featured in a spring 2006 interweave crochet magazine I bit the bullet and bought a copy of the pattern. I love this blanket. I want one sooooo bad. However this means, I have to stop being lazy and join as i go.. which I am not good at, and I have to make the effort to sit and finish this. but I'll enjoy my post purchase bliss for the moment. Worry about the process later. lol so here is a pic of the blanket. it's quite lovely looking.

So i just re-read my blog from yesterday. OMG, talk about not proof reading before posting. roflmao I realized i made about zero sense with that. Anyway.... Tuesday, a brand new day in which to make random references and odd ball comments.
Ok hopefully I make some semblance of sense. I am not counting on it, but hoping none the less. Today is starting off at a jarring pace. I woke up early believing it was my turn to take the girls to choir. Get up, got dressed, went out side came back in got redressed because it turned out it was about 30 degrees or so outside.... brrrr... woke everyone up, started the car. All to find out it wasn't my turn. ugggh oh well now I'm up. I'm tired and want to go back to sleep. That won't happen though since I have errands to run...borring. My plan today didn't even involve getting on the internet this morning.. However D had other plans, which apparently involved the internet. So like the drug it is, i was strangely drawn to it. like the dumb moths and bugs to the bug zapper. ZAP!!!
However now that I am surfing the world wide web, I am on a search. I need to find a way to make a tassel for this blanket that I am hoping to be done with today. Which if I stop blogging I can go to the store and buy the rest of the yarn ( that I thought I was done buying) to finish it. I hope the recipient likes it, which constantly makes me wonder. I'm also not in the mood to go to the store. It's a huge chore, because I don't want to deal with driving around here... I'll stop there since it can lead to a giant rant about drivers in Katy, and it won't be pretty.... So I'm off hopefully to the store, I'll update later....

Home made Pizza and sweet tea

So lazy sunday, what to make for dinner. Why pizza of course. I trek out to my local Kroger where I find these fantastic hand tossed pizza crusts ready for topping. yum. Some yummy tomatoes and mushrooms. Couple with some pepperoni and mozzarella cheese. Yummy pizza ensues.

Now what goes with pizza, why good ole fashion sweet tea.
for those who are want to make their own at home and are confused, simply follow these instructions: Get 5 tea bags, i use cheapie national brand tea bags. black tea easy no muss no fuss. Lipton works great too. Get a small sauce pan, place tea bags in pan fill with water, boil water( you can turn off the water as soon as it boils and let the bags steep for a moment), still with me. Great this where it gets hard.... Get a 2 quart jug, start with a cup of sugar, add more if you want SWWWWEEEEETTT tea. Empty the bags from the pot, place tea in jug. stir add water to fill. Get a glass fill with ice, pour tea over ice. Enjoy. :D

Mystery Solved

So I figured out that Panda Lyscot is mercerized cotton. yay jump for joy whoo hoo all that. Sadness it is 660 meters which translates into roughly 700 yards, i need 2 balls of this so 1320 meters or 1444 yds. :( i only have three skeins of my aqua at 400 yds each so roughly 1200 yards. Ughh i hope that I crochet too small and have enough. lol if not maybe I will just add the creme at the bottom for a different look. However bonus now that I know how much I need I can be prepared for next time. Luckily I wrote it on my instructions. For later use. So here I am at the start of my project. Lets hope it doesn't take forever as many of my things tend to do.

Hiatus

So I took a short sabbatical from blogging. It didn't seem like there was tons to blog about. But now I am back, at the start of a brand new month. yay me.
However this month already starts with a vex for me. I want to make this jacket which thankfully I have the pattern for thanks very much to Poppalina ( amazing blogger) anyway, the pattern calls for some panda lyscot yarn, no biggie i'm just gonna use mercerized cotton and be done with it.... Except I can find no stats on Panda Lyscot. ugggh which means I have no idea how much I will need to complete my project. Again no biggie because I can just do as poppalina and make it a sort of molly weasley look. Except.... ( yes again) that the only mercerized cotton I do have is from my yarn score last summer. in this lovely blue and lavender color and one skein of cream. I'm never good when it comes to visualizing my own stuff. hopefully though it will turn out that my 4 skeins of aqua will be enough. Well at least I am hoping anyway. thanks for stopping by and reading. listening to some 'oldies' today.

All too much somedays

It's been four months since Matt's passing. You would think it would be easier, but for some reason it seems to have gotten harder. I have managed to stamp my feelings down so much that I don't feel like I have many left to share. I miss him soo much. I can't even put into words how I feel about it. The random texts he would send. The stupid conversations about nothing, the conversations about real life. I miss him. I keep asking him for a sign that he is fine, that he is where he should be. Then I realized what if he is giving it to me and I am just not noticing it? There are so many little things that could be signs from him that I am ignoring. I feel like I spend time trying not to think about him. I let my mind wander over memories but then block them almost as soon as they start to come up. I choose not to deal with my emotions, but rather leave them be. I miss him, dear god I miss him soo much. I feel like it is senseless as to why he isn't here. There should be a better reason, not just he hit a tree and flew out of the car. It's like I want some reason why he was out driving other then he was just going home. Most of all I wish I had acted on my instinct to call him, if anything to give my heart some peace. I don't understand why I didn't. If I take the time to identify my emotions I feel angry with myself for NOT paying attention to call him. I should have, even to leave a voicemail to tell him I loved him and wanted to see him soon.
My heart feels so empty some days. I feel so empty some days. I just want to let it all out. I don't know why I don't. Why I choose to keep it all in. I want it out, I want some peace. I want some of the emptiness to be gone from my soul. UGGGGHHHH!!!!!!! This sucks. it sucks and I hate it.

We went to Traders village today. OMG that place is ginormous. I almost fainted from sheer glee. A huge flea market, like my dream come true. Ok I am sorry, but I get sooo pissed off when people say that Myspace/facebook/whateversite causes soo many problems in your relationship. NO IT DOESN'T!!! People are the problems in the relationship. Myspace/facebook do not cause your SO to cheat. THEY CHOOSE TO CHEAT!!! If there was no website to cause issues then they would still find a way to cause their own problems. GRRRRRRRRRR I'm sorry but it really does burn my butt ( yes I said that) when people want to blame something rather than admit that their bf/gf/dh/dw actively chose to cheat. I have a myspace as does my husband. Neither one of us instantly turned into cheaters. There are bigger issues at hand... Ugggh sorry everyone but one too many myspace is the devil things cause me to go mad. lol

It has come to my attention that many of you are upset that folks are taking My name out of the season. Maybe you've forgotten that I wasn't actually born during this time of the year and that it was some of your predecessors who decided to celebrate My birthday on what was actually a time of pagan festival. Although I do appreciate being remembered anytime.

How I personally feel about this celebration can probably be most easily understood by those of you who have been blessed with children of your own. I don't care what you call the day. If you want to celebrate My birth, just GET ALONG AND LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

Now, having said that let Me go on. If it bothers you that the town in which you live doesn't allow a scene depicting My birth, then just get rid of a couple of Santas and snowmen and put in a small Nativity scene on your own front lawn. If all My followers did that there wouldn't be any need for such a scene on the town square because there would be many of them all around town.

Stop worrying about the fact that people are calling the tree a holiday tree, instead of a Christmas tree. It was I who made all trees. You can remember Me anytime you see any tree. Decorate a grape vine if you wish: I actually spoke of that one in a teaching, explaining who I am in relation to you and what each of our tasks were. If you have forgotten that one, look up John 15: 1 -8.

If you want to give Me a present in remembrance of My birth here is my wish list. Choose something from it:

1.
Instead of writing protest letters objecting to the way My birthday is being celebrated, write letters of love and hope to soldiers away from home. They are terribly afraid and lonely this time of year. I know, they tell Me all the time.

2.
Visit someone in a nursing home. You don't have to know them personally. They just need to know that someone cares about them.

3.
Instead of writing George complaining about the wording on the cards his staff sent out this year, why don't you write and tell him that you'll be praying for him and his family this year. Then follow up. It will be nice hearing from you again.

4.
Instead of giving your children a lot of gifts you can't afford and they don't need, spend time with them. Tell them the story of My birth, and why I came to live with you down here. Hold them in your arms and remind them that I love them.

5.
Pick someone that has hurt you in the past and forgive him or her.

6.
Did you know that someone in your town will attempt to take their own life this season because they feel so alone and hopeless? Since you don't know who that person is, try giving everyone you meet a warm smile; it could make the difference.

7.
Instead of nit picking about what the retailer in your town calls the holiday, be patient with the people who work there. Give them a warm smile and a kind word. Even if they aren't allowed to wish you a "Merry Christmas" that doesn't keep you from wishing them one. Then stop shopping there on Sunday. If the store didn't make so much money on that day they'd close and let their employees spend the day at home with their families

8. If you really want to make a difference, support a missionary-- especially one who takes My love and Good News to those who have never heard My name.

9. Here's a good one. There are individuals and whole families in your town who not only will have no "Christmas" tree, but neither will they have any presents to give or receive. If you don't know them, buy some food and a few gifts and give them to the Salvation Army or some other charity which believes in Me and they will make the delivery for you.

10.
Finally, if you want to make a statement about your belief in and loyalty to Me, then behave like a Christian. Don't do things in secret that you wouldn't do in My presence. Let people know by your actions that you are one of mine.

Don't forget; I am God and can take care of Myself. Just love Me and do what I have told you to do. I'll take care of all the rest. Check out the list above and get to work; time is short. I'll help you, but the ball is now in your court. And do have a most blessed Christmas with all those whom you love and remember :

why is it 80 freaking degrees?? why do I have mosquito bites?? UGH!!!!!!! At least in El Paso it will be cold. I give up!!!

Moving on to another topic.
I went back to the hello kitty store yesterday and scored some more sticker books. I love this little things. :D they are soo cute. I can't wait to use them on my correspondence. I still have to get started on my BICO's sadly I don't have much time today as I will be volunteering at my youngster's class. But later today I can. sigh so much to do so little time.
Oh and I just love this little smiley

it looks soo sweet, I just have to wait about 18 weeks to find out what color palette I will be using. I think I might put a Myrtle the Turtle appliqué on there just for fun. or maybe a star. She will also be getting a BICO in the gender colors of her choice. all this baby stuff is great!!!
